Capella Lodge hosts no more than 20 guests in its spacious suites. It offers ocean, lagoon and mountain views and its interiors feature timber floors, white bleached shutters, marine ply joinery and custom furniture.

All rooms have ensuite with bath and shower, king beds, superior bed linen and towels, beach towels and many other inclusions to ensure the most comfortable environment for guests.

Three spacious Capella Suites have king or twin beds and wide outdoor deck with day bed. Four Lagoon Lofts have a bedroom mezzanine with king bed and deck and the lower level has a lounge with king single bed and deck with daybed.

There is one Capella Family Suite with separate king bedroom and day lounge with 2 king single beds, outdoor deck and dual entry ensuite. The Lidgbird Suite has magnificent ocean and mountain views, large wrap-around verandah, private spa and a king bed, and an open plan interior.

Tourist numbers are carefully controlled and it is never crowded. Only 400 visitors are permitted at a time and Lord Howe Islanders are dedicated to resisting over-development of their home and they strive to live in harmony with their unique environment. It is a paradise for walkers, bird watchers and anglers. Other popular activities include snorkelling and scuba diving, surfing, cycling, bowling, tennis and golf.
